VI Marketing and Branding has once again earned The Journal Record’s 2025 Empowering Women Award. The award recognizes Oklahoma organizations that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting and advancing women in the workplace.
78% of VI Marketing and Branding’s workforce are women. More than half of all promotions since 2023 have gone to women and women make up 75% of the director team. The leadership team includes two women and one man and several women have advanced from entry-level roles to senior leadership, including the company’s first woman president.
The agency emphasizes work-life balance and family support. Employees have access to paid maternity leave, flexible return-to-work options, including part-time, remote, or hybrid schedules and a dedicated pump room for nursing mothers. Flexible hours allow employees to manage parenting responsibilities while staying fully engaged in their work.
Employees praise the company’s culture and professional development opportunities. Kaitlin Smith, Digital Strategy and Insights Lead, highlighted the support she received during maternity leave and her transition back to work. Angel Batungbacal, Ad Operations Specialist, noted the mentorship that has helped her grow in the industry.
By fostering mentorship, leadership development and true flexibility, VI is building not just a stronger workplace, but a stronger future for women in marketing.
